Social Group
St. Michael’s has an active social life offering a variety of events throughout the year.
In the past year these have included Sunday afternoon walks, quizzes, a Garden Tea party, Wine Tasting and Bring & Share Curry evening, and for the future, a New Year Party, a Beetle drive and more is planned.
Successful events are often repeated and we are always on the lookout for new ideas

Flowers
We have a rota for the flower arrangers to ensure there are flowers in the church every week of the year except during Lent and Advent.
Each flower arranger is involved approximately every five weeks to arrange either a pedestal or to provide small arrangements for the two chapels.
The Festivals of Easter, Harvest and Christmas demand a concentrated effort from all the team members.
New members, experienced arrangers or those with just a love of flowers are always welcome. We share our expertise and help the inexperienced. Some of our team do not attend church but enjoy helping.
