Our History

The current building was consecrated on 28th April 1965, by the Rt. Revd. N.E. Cornwall, then Assistant Bishop of Basingstoke.

Before that, St Peter's church was situated at the end of Sandys Road in South Ham, in a building now fondly called "The wooden hut".

In 2015, St Peter's celebrates its 50th Anniversary. We are holding a series of events to celebrate the last 50 years and to look ahead in hope and trust to where God is leading us in the future.
