Learning and Praying
At St Peter's, we are keen to to grow and develop our understanding of God, and to explore what it means to live out our faith in our daily lives.
Several times a year, we hold short courses - usually involving some input, and a time to discuss, think and draw on our own experiences. We often plan and offer these courses in partnership with other local churches as part of Churches Together in South Ham.
Our next course, "Growing in the Scriptures" begins on Oct 11th. You can find full details here.
If you are interested in exploring faith for yourself, or asking questions about life that you would like to discuss with someone, please do get in touch.
Prayer is at the heart of our lives as followers of Jesus. It is through prayer that we grow closer to God and to one another. Prayer happens in all sorts of ways - through words, silence, and actions. We can pray alone or with other people.
At St Peter's, we gather together for Morning Prayer on Saturdays at 9am. You can find out more about this and our other times of worship here.
We have a prayer calendar, which helps us to remember and pray for our local community. Each day, particular streets and different aspects of our local community life are remembered before God. You can find the calendar and use it for your own prayers here.
If there are particular things you would like us to pray for, or if you would like to learn more about praying yourself, please get in touch.
