Roundabout Quilters' Exhibition in All Saints Church
28th June 2015
All Saints Church was filled with colour and creativity for the weekend 27-28 June, when the church was used for the first exhibition by the local Roundabout Quilters group. Quilts of all sizes and styles were hung on frames al round the church, and about 200 people visited during the two days. "Stunning!" was the response of many viistors.
And as the Sunday
service took place surrounded by quilts, in the sermon we were reminded that patchwork is often made up from left-over pieces of material that would otherwise be thrown away but, when used together, creates something wonderful. In the same way, Jesus takes very ordinary people and their individual gifts and puts them together to do wonderful things in His name.
