GETTING MARRIED at ALL SAINTS', Basingstoke
|
How much will it cost?
The cost of the service and the certificate is set by the Church of England centrally. It usually increases each January, so we cannot give exact costs until the January of the year in which you plan to marry.
There are then some extra costs, such as paying an organist, someone to be there to open and get the church ready and marriage preparation. This year (2008) the basic cost of getting married at All Saints, including these costs, is £377.00.
You may also want to pay extra for bells, a choir, if you want a video. We ask you to pay a deposit of £50.00 when you book your wedding and then ask you to pay the balance by a month before the date of your wedding. We will work out with you the exact cost of your wedding when you have decided what you want.
