Regular services at All Saints

(All our services are from Common Worship)

Every Week
Services on Sunday

8am  Holy Communion

This is a simple service without any music. It lasts about 40 – 45 minutes, and usually there are about 6 – 12 people there.  Visitors are always welcomed.

The service takes place in the "Lady Chapel". This is the part of the church at the far end of the church on the left as you come in.

10am  Sung Eucharist

This is the main service of the week. It is a communion service, with  hymns, and a sermon, and  lasts between 1 and  1¼ hours. If you have time to stay, there is tea, coffee and squash afterwards. We include traditional ritual, such as incense, but hope that the "feel" is relaxed.

We have  toys and books for children on the north (left hand) side of the church and we enjoy having children with us.
On the fourth Sunday of the month the service is shorter, simpler and designed thinking of the needs and interests of children.
See below under monthly services (Come Fourth)

Every Week
A service on Thursday

This is a simple, said  communion service. The service lasts about 40 minutes and is held in the Lady Chapel (at the left hand side of the altar).  We welcome everyone.
Coffee is served afterwards for those with time to stay.

Every Month
The Second Sunday of the month

7.30pm  Stillness on Sunday

We meet in the Lady Chapel area of the church,to be still and listen to our hearts and to God. The space is lit by candles, and through simple music, short passages to reflect on and  silence, we take time in busy lives to be still in the presence of God.

Before we leave we share coffee, cake and conversation.

See our Calendar page for the current dates.

The Fourth Sunday of the month

10am  "Come Fourth"

Once a month our morning service is planned thinking of the needs and gifts of children. It does not last longer than an hour; children are encourage to take part in the service in different ways and the church is arranged so that everyone can see.

See our Calendar page for the current dates.
